Digging Grounds/Kaput Talks

On Sunday 15 April, two distinguished guest speakers will give their responses to the exhibition Digging Grounds/Kaput from 13:00 onwards.
Curator, critic and researcher Christel Vesters will begin the afternoon with a talk entitled Uncharted Territories: Finding our Way (Together). She will look at how Western knowledge systems could be impacted if they were to be created by the process of ‘Wandering’, as opposed to the linear manner prevalent in conventional Western culture.
Visual artist and researcher Florian Göttke will then lead a tour of the exhibition, paying special attention to archival practices and systems of knowledge.
