Temporary Gallery I - Metamorphoses

From 19 to 22 September 2024, GLUE will transform Amsterdam into a vibrant design landscape with a four-day route that illuminates the city's dynamic creative scene. The festival features emerging and established designers, architects, brands, agencies, showrooms, galleries, and institutes, striving to forge deeper connections within the local design community.

During GLUE 2024, Looiersgracht 60 will host the first Temporary Gallery of Metamorphoses Objects alongside the solo exhibition of Sophie Rowley (DE/NZ) at Looiersgracht 60.

Metamorphoses Objects is dedicated to showcasing the artistry and conceptual frameworks behind individual creations. The initiative celebrates artists who skillfully merge traditional and contemporary techniques, fostering a dialogue between the past and the present.

As an artist-driven endeavour, Metamorphoses Objects collaborates closely with artists to produce exclusive, distinctive pieces. For this special occasion, a meticulously curated selection of works from both renowned and up-and-coming makers from the Netherlands and beyond will be on display. Works by designers such as Seok-Heon Yoon (SK), Atelier Fig (NL), Jonas Lutz (NL/FI), and others will be shown in an intimate space in the gallery.
